  1. I listen to her sounds express through this body, and like a proud Mother, marvel at the magnificence and, like an innocent Child, revel without judgement in the joy of the experience.

  2. This changes over time, but lately I’m all too aware of the things I gravitate towards most. I’m out of my element, in new places all the time, away from home and often in public places with large groups of people. My introverted soul needs recharge now, more than ever and it’s not always easy to find given that there is no routine and I’m so far from my home sanctuary.

Right now… because this might change again at some point soon… I feed my soul by doing my Mantra practice in the morning while alone in the room, eating alone in a quiet corner of a restaurant once or twice a week, writing… so much writing, standing at the edge of the ocean, closing my eyes and just feeling it all, soft pijamas, a well made bed, and bare skin on skin tangled resting silent bodies at night and music that reminds me of my divine feminine self.

    • This brings really wonderful images to my mind.

  3. Wonderful question to think about, Elena. First, I wonder what we mean by soul. Then I decide it is my personal definition that truly matters and it includes my body, my mind and my connection to Source.

I can count on daily nourishment from an intentional morning routine that includes meditation and yoga, time to reflect or read and a good cup of coffee or tea.

Asking myself several times throughout the day, “What do I need” (ala Marshall Rosenberg) is a fun and effective soul nourishing game that changes moment to moment. For instance, yesterday I needed to rest and get some fresh air so I spent 15 minutes in my sunny hammock. Sometimes it is a need for connection and I will make a point to call or write a friend. Sometimes, I need clarity, maybe a moment to focus on my breath, then there is sometimes a need for play – to remember to laugh. It is listening deeply to and treating myself with care.

    • I love this process, Andrea. “What do I need?” I think this is an essential practice to carry with us all the time to familiarize ourselves with the constantly speaking voice of the intuition that already knows, but often remains disconnected from our consciousness.
